Delayed delivery??? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I ordered my car in early may... they told me 8 weeks until the car was delivered.. its been over 12 now, and they still can't tell me when the cars will be shipped. They told me it had been built over a month ago, and is apparently just sitting somewhere. Is anyone else experiencing this??

My salesman guarantteed me 8-10 weeks and monday will be week 11, my salesman is a tool but the dealership has been getting camaro's every week. The car is sitting in ohio right now taking the scenic route. Hopefully it will be here at the end of the week but they may sit at the train yard waithing for other freight to ship with it. At least my car shipped but my salesman doesn't know a thing. Because of this site i know where my car is but if it was just my salesman giving me the song and dance i would have killed him by now.

your car is most likely stuck in area 51

You can track your car down, you need the six digit order code. Do you have a vin yet? If all you have it six digits that's fine if it has been built your vin can be found. You can post both and find your railcar number and track your car. 8 weeks sounds like and empty promise to me. If you have some or all of the above info go to the order tracking thread on here and it will point you the right way.
