Dealer sticker How to remove?

Ok. Just picked up my new 2012 2SS/RS yesterday.

Dealer stuck this ass ugly sticker on the back.

What is the best way for me to remove this without making a mess.

Thanks
Brian

if its just a STICKER, then try to get it started using your fingernail, and warm it up using a blow dryer, just take your time. after you get it off, get yourself some GOO GONE or use Isoprople to remove the leftover residue.

if its one of those plastic badges, use either some dental floss or thin fishing line and work it in behind it and using a sissor action back and forth it will end up cutting the backing off. Then as before, either get some GOO GONE or some isoprople to remove the residue.

Nuke pretty much covered it.

If it is just a sticker and not a badge once you get that corner started be sure to pull the sticker at as shallow an angle, parallel to the panel, as you can manage. This will keep as much of the adhesive on the sticker backing and off of your paint as possible. Pulling at a 90* or steeper angle will break the adhesive loose from the sticker leaving it on your paint, which isn't the end of the world, but it is more work to remove.

To illustrate what I mean heres a quick drawing of the direction you want to work in:

I removed mine while washing it one day. It took about 10 minutes. Basically did the pull technique above and they came off with no residue at all. I think it also depends on type/strength of vinyl used, luckily my dealer used some pretty easy stuff.
