I could be wrong but once he ran the vin to his insurance company wouldnt they have told him whether v6 or SS. I just think someone removed them cant see someone making it through whole buying process and not knowing its a SS or not.

All SS's have badges.
White SS is an SS without the RS package.
Red SS is an SS with RS package.

My 1ss has badging and also to tell it's ss it has ss stitched on the seats
