That's the exact trade I have considered before. 1LT to 1SS. NOBODY here carries a 1SS. I asked the dealer once and he said in recent memory they have only had two 1SS cars and both were ordered by customers. Did your insurance change drastically?

I built a 1SS LS3/6 speed manual on the website today. Victory Red, no options but the white rally stripes and the blade spoiler. Black interior. Identical to my current car. Too bad it was $34,000 :(

Thanks to no accidents, no tickets, multi-car and homeowner's discount (and I've been with State Farm since 1985), my payment will actually go DOWN by $8 a month. Nice, huh?

Congrats on the upgrade........SIM Pics when you get time...

I the SIM without the rally stripes...easy care, 2 bkt wash and blow dry or high dollar micro and you will never notice a swirl...after a black camaro, you will feel like you have enough free time for a second job!

Ahhhh another V6 to V8 convert I did the same move in July and never regretted it. I stayed with black as my 1LT was black also. I don't care how much harder it is to keep clean. IMO a 5th gen. Camaro in black looks sick. Also it cost the same to insure my V8 as it did the V6 gotta love it

Take some pictures great color but even though not as hard to care for as black it does show every little bug on the front bumper and the dirt shows up more so you need to keep it clean to look good or get some type of force field modification for the car.I'm thinking about stripes to, not sure if I want rally or bumble bee style tough choice. Good Luck
