If it can be legally street driven and is tested in stock form as built by the factory, to me that's makes your product fair game for comparison.

Yes, you should never be comparing cars priced so far apart.

How do you think a Z/28 will perform against other similar priced 4-seat street cars?

The Z/28 is street legal 3800lb car with RWD, a naturally aspired engine, and true manual trans.

Any Porsche should pummel any bone stock "old school" large American car when the track gets tight. It SHOULD be a total bloodbath.

Sadly, that is no longer true.

I will admit I'm truly puzzled how a Small Block Chevy with 2 valves and pushrods with no turbo or blower is still viable against DOHC twin turbo engines. That makes no sense at all.

Actually, for a multi-purpose vehicle, a crew cab American pickup is a much better choice than anything Nissan or Porsche makes.

Tow 18,000lb, seat 5 or 6, put 5,000lb in the bed, last 500,000 miles.

Oh, you are talking CARS!

CTS-V. Comfy commuter, stupid fast, seats 5, good amount of trunk, and pretty fast in the twisties when set to Kill.

There is nothing that makes a GT-R or 911 a more practical car than a Camaro.

Parking. The Camaro is huge compared to the 911. Also sight lines suck sooo bad in the Camaro and both cars are better in this regard.

Each car comes from the factory with rubber than can cope with cold and rain better too.

The 911 will pull more wimmin. The Nissan more azn wimmin. But the Camaro will pull more that will actually put out. Not sure how this factors into practicality.

Depends on how old you like your wimmin. Sport a Mullet, a few tats, put your hat on backwards, pull your pants down a foot, and drive a loud Camaro, and the Barely Legal crowd is YOURS!

Works best in the Southern States though.
