Cr joins injen
About to order a polished injen Cai for 288 shipped!!!
I'm a big sound guy does the injen give a throaty sound and is it noticeable gain wise and sound wise? They say it ads 16 hp and more Tq along with my muffs chopped I'm hoping for high 13s. Next mod trifecta

If you have seen Hawaii 5-0,it will have a sound similar to that V6.

The Injen does not provide as deep and throaty sound as some of the other CAI systems out there. However, it is the best one for pulling the colder air since it pulls from below.
You will indeed notice the change in HP and TRQ. You will need a computer if you plan to load the tirfecta tune.

I noticed a deeper, louder and more throaty sound compaped to my to my Airaid V2 with extra air holes in it. But my whole system is different so maybe thats why.

you can get cold air with a scoop on most intakes, don't know the differences in sound though.

I don't know s**t about cold air intakes but I know the cheaper K&N aircharger intake I got produces a "throaty sound". Plus the tube comes black and you can paint it and the heat shield/box body color if you like. Just a FYI.

they are all throaty to some extent. Movies dub in sound so you can't base anything off of that. Performance is the thing you want in an intake, leave sound to your exhaust for the most part
