I got them from Digi-key and there SSL-LX5093TC and i have 50 of them, TonyNo you know that there made by some one else.

How did you wire the LEDs to the resistors? what kind of resistors do i need to order? Also anyone wire a light to the spare compartment on the door panel?

Hello. If u r going use red led's, then the ones I used from radio shack already have them installed. If u are going with the original blue, then use the links I posted in the first post, order the led, if the led is 2 volts then use the resistor calculator also in the first post and put in the volts of the led and it will tell u the size of resistor u need to bring 12volts down to 2volts. Then u just solder them together. The resistor goes on the ground side of the led.

It looks like both of these items are made by Lumex, how close is this to the actual ABL (Ice blue) color?

got this one done over the last week came out real good. thanks for the write up and special thanks to TonyNo for the LED help. Im gonna try to use the same color LEDs to do cupholder lights and a light for the compartment where my gauge cluster is suppose to be. heres some bad pics
