Anybody know what updates for ECM and Tranny on L99?

I am looking at having my car taken in and getting all the updates on it. Anybody know what all updates are out their and what they fix?

I havent heard of any as of yet. Im fairly certain that Ive never heard of GM updating anything for the ls2/ls3.

To be honesty it was pretty spot on from the factory though. I mean the only things they could really change with the tranny would be shift points/firmness ect ect.

Are you not happy with the factory performance?

Well I have heard there are updates and wondering if any fix the octane issue in case I get bad gas. Since my car was a day 2 car I am sure they have fixed some things and want to get them taken care of.

True, I would say best bet is to just take it to the dealer. Might as well have the pdim updated if you havent done that yet.

That being said, I dont think theres a tsb about the ecm issuses with l99s yet. So seeing how GM is a dont fix it if it aint broke company, I would guess they wont update yours unless you complain about it first.

My dealer got a new service manager who is a friend of mine. He said just bring it in and they will do them. Will have the oil changed also, he called and said bring it by in in about 1 hour and they will get to work on it.

i have been keeping tabs on the cars that come here off the truck, i do a read on them and compare file cal#'s, so far there has been no auto trans software changes, the ecm has had an update, mostle for generic scan tool usage and how the ecm monitors misfires.

im sure gm already put those updates in your car when they had it for testing,, i dont think i would mess with your car,, you dont know what gm put in your car to make it run so much better,, you might end up going backwards with the tune.
