So based on that all the bull tom told me while riding to lunch and all of his knowledge is just talk. He is the money man behind this company and pays all the bills and would see this scam in front of him. He was holding the turbo in his own hand while he was telling me how the Garrett turbo works. So I call Bullshit.

The spot were label is suppose to be is blank. Turbo was ground on pretty aggressive and then polished best I can see. Only marking at all is on exhaust side .96 AR. Thats it. Good thing I have also noticed is that the turbo is both water and oil cooled. Most all the knock offs I have seen are not dual cooled. So can Tom not make a official statement or is he going to hide till he is called out with maybe a civil suit or criminal warrant for Theft by deception. Why can't he just post a invoice for the turbos were they were posted. Again he is the financial backbone of this company so he is responsible for it.

Again, did you see under the turbo blanket? Any pics of that? What type of wastegate do you have? What blow off valve?
If it is blank its obviously a fake, no one in their right mind would remove the garrett label.. |

Garrett Dual Ball Bearing T04Z/T04R 67mm GT37R
[GT37R] $1,500.00 Click to enlarge This is one of the most popular combinations for serious power in a relatively small frame. This turbo has been called a GT67, GT37R, T04Z, etc. by other shops over the years. However, there is nothing GT about it. The compressor wheel was derived from a T04S/T04R combination over 10 years ago and the P trim turbine wheel certainly has been around the block once or twice. Even though the parts that make up this combination were designed ages ago, this turbo really packs a serious punch. This turbo is custom assembled to AGP's specs in house so you know you're getting the right parts. Compressor Specs: v - T04S housing 4" inlet 2.5" outlet - Ported Shroud Option for Surge and Choke enhancement v - 63 trim T04R (67mm) compressor wheel 75lb/min Turbine Specs: - T31 4 bolt outlet turbine housing available in .63 and .82 A/R - T4 Tangential Divided Housing available in .58, .70, .84, 1.00 w/3" Vband - T4 Tangential Open Housing available in .58, .68, .81, .96 w/3" Vband - P trim Turbine Wheel |

on ours everything is gone. Nothing left on the compressor housing but polished metal. The .96 ar is on the hot side only.

First off...I am sure you will not be hearing from Tom anytime soon....The man just had an MI... Second off...You are calling out Tom and you yourself dont know 100% if you have a fake Garrett turbo?? How does that work?? You call me out as the thief that stole your wallet...but you are not sure if you lost your wallet?? All I was saying is...if its a fake....I am sure Tom was tricked also....because he may have though it was a real Garrett...But like I said....You still dont know what brand you have So lets first find out...then call out... well the point of this thread was to call out someone who has done wrong to some people on this site.
I am all for protecting our members, but fighting among each other will not get anyone anywhere. If this continues, this thread will be closed. |

I had a kit on order and Tom refunded my money in full. But I am only speaking for my self. I would be pissed to if someone pulled a bait and switch on me.
