Tire problems -Again!!
My '13 ZL1 has 2200 miles and so far I've replaced 2 tires. Had a nail in the RR and sidewall blow out on FL.
Now I see this when cleaning the tires. It looks like a close call on a flat but the object that caused it didn't go though. I can't tell how deep it is but it's on the tread. Should I be concerned about having yet another tire blowout from this? |

I've done it before on other tires. It's not deep enough for concern unless you're really anal about your tires. Happens with sticky tires, just a cut from an object on the road.

Waiting for my front left tire to come in now because I got a nail. It's like thes tires attract nails.

I'm currently waiting on 2 rears due to nails - although they were not far off needing replacement anyway so it's not all bad

I have been running one with a piece of metal in the tire for 2500 miles. Slow leak. Went 160, ran it on the track, etc. Hasn't been a problem. One of these days I plan to plug it to stop the slow leak.

I've had two 2 nails on two separate pair of rear tires. Just going to get the 3rd pair installed. M-fer these tires are expensive!
