Are you using a dyno to verify the numbers when playing with the fuel mixture............becasue the GREAT one (SCRMNG) found thru his research and PLENTY of dyno time that this engine like to run rich, and hot but ingeste cold air. It does not react like any other engine that has been played with.

Be careful.
Hey RT... what is the height of your tire wheel combo?

Btw after today I can tell you that the stock fuel map seems to be kind of conservative, not much backfire at all. The car runs lean.
Hrrmmm...its been a common understanding here that the LLT likes to run rich.

I thought the OE19s were just a bit taller than the 20s. Do you know how tall GTOs DRs are?

Hmmm mine are an inch shorter than yours at 26.7". If I get some good air I'll have to go after a better position on the fast list! hehe! Been I while since I was on top....

I know you'll be in the mix for sure. Your car is built for all kinds of racing.

I only know a straight line.

Sorry to the OP for the jack... just one more... I promise.

I built one pretty much just like this in the 70s. My only real straight line car...

Ah guess Im wrong then. My car barely backfires but I guess that doesnt necessarily mean its running lean. The dyno will tell.

Actually had a set back and ruined one of the parts I ordered =[ Eta is now about two weeks until I'll post up my short list of mods and hopefully some nice dyno charts.

so whats the fastest m6 time on the track?
To be quite honest, Ive never been down a track. I missed the last track meet, but im pretty nervous about going down the track :(. Seen to many vids of people loosing it with stock cars.
If anyone knows, whats the best rpm to launch the m6v6 to minimize wheel spin?
