Manifold isolators seem to be a option now...even cams soon :)
Just got a email from a aussie company I contacted last year about LLT interest, had written them off actually, but low and behold, here's what I got, don't know if anybody else got this or not yet....but here's the info.
Hey William, Hope all is well on your end. We now have the manifold insulators to suit the LLT engines. We should have cam to suit, early next year, if not before then If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask. Hope I'm wrong, but I'm thinking some eyes may pop out when they find out the overall cost for the cams.

yeah, I don't suspect cams are a cheap option, nor are the install costs associated with them, but it's an option isolators aren't too bad though, keep the air as cool as possible into the engine, even if a hot LLT runs better than cold, cooler air is always better than hot air

I just emailed them for availability, fitment and pricing. I think I am going to order this as soon as I hear from them. This will be a very good addition with my current project.

Not sure if I'm reading that dyno correctly or not, but the TQ sure does seem to drop off badly on whatever engine they dyno'd....with our V6 the TQ stays pretty consistent.
Hard for me to believe that just isolating the manifold from the rest of the engine can provide such good low end gains....but I guess its possible?? (I have no idea lol) Maybe at lower rpms the air isn't rushing through as quickly and ultimately heats up much easier than at higher rpms, and this just allows that air to stay cooler even at lower rpms. Am I seeing this correctly? lol So if somewhere were to add a ported manifold, would this also have to be altered?

Hmmm... looks like 1/2" (12mm = .47") thick phenolic and some longer bolts... Anyone have a spare intake I can use to pattern?
I'm almost thinking it's not so much the reduction in heat as the extra length of the runners that's giving the torque bump.

Keep us posted on what responses you get, I'm very interested in the insulators. This seems like another cheap mod similar to the TB. Quote:
http://autospeed.com/cms/title_Cool-...4/article.html I honestly don't expect much from this. However it seems like it could have a similar effect like the ported TB did. Increased bottom end torque to help acceleration.
