Which gas should I use?

Just found out my favorite gas station that sells gas with no ethanol now can't get 93 octane. The owner told me he could no longer get 93 octane without ethanol now all he has is 91 octane. So should I run the 91 octane with no ethanol or buy elsewhere and get 93 octane but with 10% ethanol?

Try this website for a station that may sell ethanol free gas in your area :

93 octane for the SS. It is in the owners manual. You can put in 87, or regular, but it will cause spark retardation and you will see a decrease in power.

Run 93... note that the signs say may contain up to 10% ethanol so stick with the better stations although prices may be a little higher I like to believe that they have a little less ethanol to accout for the higher prices. If you dont have ethanol at all gas stations you eventially will and if things keep going south with oil and prices they may push for more ethanol in gas (lets pray they dont)

Run the most octane you can find but 91 sholud be fine. We run 11.3:1 compression on 91 and your at like 10:47 or 10: 87 from the factory so 91 should be ok. We get 91 with 10% out here, no issues what so ever.

don't worry about it. california doesn't have 93 octane. there are a few select stations that do 100 octane, but then you have to get the right ratio of 91 and 100 to make 93. too much of a pain in the ass for me. 91 works just fine

No one around here sells 93 octane anymore. I'm pretty sure the owners manual states 91+. It runs fine in my SS but it is "tuned" for 91.

I can get 93 octane ethanol blend at a different gas station but I have been getting 93 octane ethanol free gas. I guess my question is; Which is more important the octane rating or the absence of ethanol?

One of them did... There are a number of states that only carry 91. Arizona is one of them. As long as you are on the stock tune your are fine w/ 91

If you have a custom tune using 93 then you should be using 93...
