Hockey Stick stripes or Rally stripes? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm currently torn between which stripes I like better aesthetically; the hockey stick stripes or rally stripes. I currently have the hockey stick stripes, but I've been looking into Inferno Orange Rally stripes. Unfortunately, the Rally stripes would cost $600 in total to purchase and apply.

So, what do you guys think? Should I spend $600 to get the Rally stripes, or stick with my current ones?

I would appreciate any input. Thanks!

I like the hockey sticks myself, have you thought about just putting some hoods spears on. here's a couple of pictures of what mine look like.

Did your car come with those already applied, or did you have them put on?

I think the hockey stripes compliment the gray/orange theme very well. I say add the hood spears and youre good.

Nope. The Camaro I wanted was orange with black rally stripes but I had to get this one because no credit...I've seen lots of Camaros with hockey stripes and I just don't like them...they don't look good to me! No offense...

I decided to take the plastidip off of my rims, It's seemed a bit cheesy to me for a while now. Were the hood spears easy to install? I've never installed a decal on a car before, so it's safe to say I'm a beginner with car decals.

Yes the hood spears were very easy to install. The key is to take your time, I used a spray bottle of soapy water to keep everything lube up until I had them where I wanted. Then just took the edge of a credit card to them to smooth everything and remove the water from under them.

Every camaro I see has the rally stripes.

Thats why I went with the hockey stripes, just to stand out.
