Installing Emblems & Decals in Cold Weather

Is it possible to install these items in colder weather? Say in the mid 40's?

I'm going to install SS emblems on the fenders and SLP Faded gill decals.
Is it possible to first warm up the area with a heat gun or hair dryer, install the emblem and press with heat on it for a couple minutes? Or would the tape not adhere properly?

I know most will say wait till the warmer weather, but I'm anxious.

I just put a new emblem on my truck and it was about 40 out a few wks ago. It has held fine and isnt going anywhere. Make sure the area is clean and wax free (alcohol)

Yes you can do that but don't get the decal too hot. Like you said preheat the area first and when it's warm to the touch you can apply it. Hold pressure on it for about 20 seconds to help. Then keep it warm for about 10 minutes more. You should be ok.

This is the big thing. Weather isn't as important if the surface isn't clean/stripped.

Yes I plan on thoroughly cleaning the areas first with denatured alcohol.
