yeah its a risk giving your car to them for testing but that gives you no right to bash on them. Nitrous is just another power adder. ive seen ppl with sc/turbos blowing up their engines. my friend has a 2002 camaro ss with a 150 shot. he has been using it for years and his car still runs like a champ. its just stupid ppl out there that gives Nitrous a bad name!!!!!! but i do agree that who ever loans them the car should get the kit for free.

really i have no problem with nitrous. i do have a problem with putting in a kit with out a tune.. i don't think that makes people stupid...

They've been around for years. 4th gens, GTO's, G8's, Vettes, and 5th gen SS's. I don't believe they'd try to slap nitrous on it without checking the tune. They may not have realized the v6 had only one tune currently available, but I'm sure it'd be discovered.

Think your being a little hard on this guy. He never said he'd be slapping a system together without a tune...just simply that they are interested in building a specific kit for the car. Its obvious they are in the very beginning stages for this project and may not yet know that trifecta performance is really the only tune option out there. But at least its a great option!

Nitro Dave, maybe you know this already, but ROD1 is running nitrous on his car, with tune from trifecta and with th 100 shot, says his car is running great. Its also worth mentioning he ran a 12.4 quarter mile. (sorry if thats off a bit, I know it was mid-low 12s). NICE!!

Sorry guys... To many projects with to little time. I have not had time to focus on this yet. We are still wanting to do this with in the next month.

To the guys in this thread. There is no risk involved. I know my stuff when it comes to late model EFI Nitrous better than anyone in this industry.

Ofcourse we would not spray a car with out varifying tuning, changing the spark plugs, watching fueling etc. That would be plain stupid.

I posted saying we were looking for someone that would like to add nitrous to there V6 car. Ofcourse I could rent a car.. Heck I could go buy one. But I enjoy seeing the finished product being used and left on the car.

We want to do the same for the V6.. A custom plate is 10 times better than a universal nozzle pushed into a cold air tube...
