Woodpeckers..... Really!!!!!!
Ok so we have a wood pecker in love with our car. He constantly lands on, pecks on, and craps on our car!!! I have never seen a woodpecker do this. I know that he is most likely sharpening his beak but its pissin me off!! Any one know of bird deterrents that may work? I have seen people put rubber or plastic snakes in fruit trees to keep birds away so we are tryin to find some and try that. If that dont work anybody know if wood peckers are protected in texas? Im from louisiana and some are there so your not supposed to take care of them in otherways... If you know what i mean. Any suggetions would be great.

I had a female cardinal pecking at our mirrors, and marking them up with the wax from her beak. A Tom Cat rat trap baited with peanut butter took care of the problem, and my neighbors though I was a hero. I doubt the woodpecker would go for peanut butter, try some meal worms from the pet store.
