wonder why is the camaro unit taking longer, and how would this unit stand against the tsv 2300, hp, tq wise.

Thanks Rock for carrying that post over!
This is a stock bottom end C6 with a cam that was already in the car for NA use. We are switching it out soon for a milder camshaft more compliant with the charger. It also has a fuel system to support 650+ wheel HP. We have 10 Camaro kits coming this week in which we are doing three different packages; Stage 1SC Stock everything with E Force Stage 2SC Full exhaust with E Force Stage 3SC Full exhaust/blower camshaft with E Force. If you read the thread on that forum you will see some discussion about the runner design with that blower...VERY efficient at low boost levels. As cool as more boost sounds, boost is actually the amount of "backed up" pressure in the manifold. With this tuned runner design you can run less pressure with great volume. What this leads to is less heat built up which is a big bonus with any forced induction system. The Camaro unit and Corvette are indentical as far as function so results will be similar. Differences are mainly in the intake snout for car specific fitment. We are working on a High Output version of the kit that will have a extrude honed manifold, higher efficiency heat exchanger, larger pump and fuel system upgrades. For the guys with larger or forged motors. Impressive job by Edelbrock in design and quality! Howard |

At 600 RWHP FI you will see a pressure drop from 58 psi to 40 psi by the time you hit 4000 rpms. 666 RWHP and you are heading towards 30 psi. For most guys with this kit at less then 550 RWHP it will be fine. Howard |

I even bought the catted LT headers I did buy a smaller pulley to keep the boost around 7.5 psi JM

You can go with ZR1 Cam and it's an excellent DD Cam but provides a much better boost release than stock N/A Cam. mild cam don't give you any problem. The smaller pulley just create more boost (Boost is air Waiting in the manifold). With a blower can and header you'll drop boost, and heat and less stress on the engine. Talk to your tuner about ZR1 Cam.
