Yeah, hard to see since it was kinda overcast. The spoiler, area around the tail lights, center of the hood and area below the upper and lower grilles are all painted metallic black. I wanted something that was real subtle and made you look twice to be sure you saw it.

That's what I did

There are a few companies performing a process called Hydrographic Printing with the availability to coat items in a carbon fiber (appearing) finish. I'd like to suggest doing a quick google search for Hydrographics and perhaps you'll find a vendor in your area with a tank large enough to handle this spoiler for you.

Hope this helps!

Good Luck,

I've been thinking about cutting a groove in the trailing edge of the spoiler and putting a light tube connected to red lights in it for a brake light (like the light tube brake lights in Cadillacs). Would this ruin the structural integrity of the spoiler?

(In case you didn't see the other thread)

In honor of the release of the FireBreather spoiler, I thought I would put up a new video. This video contains some behind the scenes footage as well as footage from the 2010 BullRun Rally.

I hope you enjoy!!

Anytime you alter the original structural make up of a molded (or formed) part, you will inevitably compromise/weaken the structural integrity of the piece. Because this is not a load-bearing item, it's not likely to make too much of a difference.

Hope this helps!
