Close up of the vents. The cool thing about these vents is that you could finish them off in a variety of ways. You can chrome them, polish them, paint them hydro coat them, give them the brushed look, anything. These particular vents were powder coated black and then the "high spots" were polished.

Would love to see it with not so much of a cowl (as an option) too. I love it either way though.

I am thinking of getting rid of our prototype hood which retains the stock height if you were interested.

do you guys or anyone else make a hood where the raised cowl is open like that? without the hood vents to worry about?

i like this hood a lot. I want something to help the aero dynamics and let hot air escape, but i also love the cowl hoods. if i have a covered CAI, do you think it would be adequately protected from water if i opened the vents on this hood?
