How many brakes are squeaking?

It drives me crazy. I have 8,500 on mine an it's been doing it for awhile. And there is this other woman just got hers about 2 months ago and hers is doing it now. So, just wondering how bad is it? How many of us are spueaking at slowing down at stop lights?

These brakes just squeak!

I just picked up a new 2ss/rs to replace my 2005 Corvette Z51.
The larger Z51 disks and pads squeaked for 5 years and never changed.
It's just the way they are!

You can do a search, but I will save you some time.

Performance brake pads squeak. There is a trade off in braking compounds. The quieter they are, the less stopping power they have. For the Camaro, they decided to put priority on stopping power, so the pads are a bit noisy.

2,100 miles... No squeaking at all.
Though I did Brake Burnishing at about 1,000 miles (Breaking the brakes in)
If interested google it to find out the benefits, consisted of 60-5mph braking extremely hard about 6 times.

About 3,800 miles. Mine squeak at every stop as I slow down. I know the car stops well, but I still HATE the squeaky brakes. I'd rather have the car's looks or engine turn heads, not the squealing brakes. :(

Mine don't and never have squeaked. Just creeks at the last second stoping and when letting off. But they are big Brembos so I expect it.

Did you kinda break yours in?
I did and I believe that's why mines don't squeak
