Hennessey 700 ZL1

Went out Christmas morning for a ride in my Hennessey 700 ZL1. I figured traffic would be light....and it was. I found a straight-a-way with barely visible tail lights ahead of me. I found out how fast it is at 6000 rpm in 6th gear. Boys, let me tell you it is BAD TO THE BONE!!! It hadn't even offered to slow down when the tail lights became too close for comfort in front of me. The ZL1 was as smooth as could be, but I always have doubts about the other idiots on the road....like changing lanes for no reason. If you have any doubts, let me put your mind at ease....you won't be disappointed in a Hennessey package on this car.

I did road racing for over 10 years at the TransAm level and I know BAD! I got rid of a 2010 ZR1 Corvette to make room for this car and trust me, the Hennessey 700 ZL1 will make a Corvette driver cry!

If you are planning on an upgrade package, Hennessey can't be beat!

Sounds like a thrilling run. What speed did you get to? I wish I had a place to play. The only time I've really stayed into mine was at the local drag strip.

Funny you sould write this, I just drove past their shop today on my way to Pitmakers in Humble.

I-10 was stupid with the traffic today. I did get the chance to dump my Z into 4th and get up to 125 as I drove past their shop. hehehe

It was way to easy to speed. Heck the flow of traffic today was 85 and it seemed like every time I tried to pass someone they tried to keep up with me.

Possibly be at Old Town but it depends on my work - I get back to the US on Wednesday evening, but if I don't make Old town due to work then I'm sure something else will be happening over the weekend that I'll be at.

Got my new air filter to fit when I get back too - start catching up some of those horses you have on me at the minute!

How is the warranty handled on the Hennessey 700 ZL1? Let's say there's an issue with a Hennessey component, do you take the Camaro to your friendly, local CHEVY Service Department & they work something out? Mr GOODWRENCH is the guy I normally take an unmodded car to for GM issues. Is Hennessey the only GM authorized shop for performance mods where an OEM warranty is still honored? The warranty is good for how many miles/months?

Thanks & have a Happy New Year! Got any pics of that monster?
