LS3 Cam Conversion Video

Seems like there has been a lot of talk about cams lately. There are a lot of great choices out there. Combining the right components and tune will net great results and fun driving vehicle. My Camaro is an automatic and has excellent drivability. The idle is rough and choppy, even more witht the Pfadt solid engine mounts. Here is a little info and video on my project.

L99 to LS3 Conversion
Pat G. spec cam, Tune
227 /234 .638" / .612" 113 LSA +3 Advance
WCCH CNC Heads, stainless valves
BTR Valvetrain Components

Kooks 3" Full Exhaust, No Cats
ADM Race Intake
Yank Converter
All ARP Bolts

Improved Racing Oil Pan Baffle

Nitrous Express Camaro Kit
Intake Manifold Heat Shield
Snow Methanol Injection Kit
Fluidampr 25% Underdrive Pulley

An LS3 conversion kit. You should talk to Lethal Racing or a few other vendors who offer the kit as a package deal for less than you would spend piecing it together.

Personal preference.

Biggest draw back from VVT is most tuners are clueless tuning them or don't want to bother. Rhino is about the only one doing it right.

We are excited to be a part of this project! I saw some of this over at LS1 Tech and your attention to detail is beautiful. Keep up the good work.

What stall did you end up using from Yank? Do you get a lot of surge at stop lights?
