New Camaro V6 LS Need Input.
I just bought a used 2011 Camaro and I just got the windows tinted now I need to know the right direction. I was interested in the BBK CAI, and the ARK N-ii exhaust. Any feed back? Or know of any place where I can find affordable MODS.

BBK is not bad, but i do not think it is the best. You will prob find more people recommend K&N or Injen. I actually have not seen that exhaust before so I cant give you feedback on it. There are tons of vendors on here who offer special pricing for members.

Check out the RotoFab intakes, that will be my next mod. The exhaust is a different monster, depends on what sound you specifically like. There are exhaust threads with sound examples that may help, but dont depend on it 100%. I first went with the Flowmaster American Thunder, then changed to the Borla exhaust. Good luck

I've yet to see anyone with a BBK CAI, I'm not even sure it was on the market when I was looking. They are a company with a good name and I like the other stuff they have on the market, I just haven't heard much about their CAI. I DO recommend the vararam though. I love mine.
The Ark exhaust is a great choice. I got the MRT v1.0 which is only an axelback. If I wanted to spend the extra money and go cat-back, Ark would have been my choice.

injen cai is the best imo cai for the v6. That's what I have.
The MRT 2.0 exhaust is allegedly the best for the v6, but I don't have it so can't say personally. |

I'd do a good search on CAI's on the site here and see which will get you the best power & torque combination boost for your 3.6.

My vote goes for Solo Mach X for a cat back system. Plenty of vids on Youtube, but they are ok in sound quality. You really have to hear it in person to appreciate it.

Injen, vararam, and CAI intakes are probably the most popular and each has there strong points. I know this isn't on your list, but performance wise I would look into replacing the heritage rims as they are very heavy and will kill some of your performance. The LS has the heaviest rims of any v6 camaro. Don't under estimate unsprung weight and performance.

Alright I appreciate it, I was looking at the Vararam CAI, looks a little different then what Im use too. Between Ingen and Vararam which would be the best bet? Im stuck on the Ark N-II exhaust when I get the money. Rims I havent figured out yet? Im new to the forum and havent navigated through here to find where to go.
