hey all, so I have a bit of a problem and don't know what to do, I have a bolt/ screw.. something came loose in the trunk, problem is it is behind the trunk frame and i cant see it when i lift trunk i hear it fall and when i close trunk i can hear it move again, i think its stuck on bottom left corner by hinges, and ideas for a solution to the problem?

One of the nuts holding the spoiler came off. Take it to the dealer and have them fix it and get the loose nut out. Very common problem on the earlier cars.

I have the same thing....the earlier VINs have spoiler bolts that become loose...there are 6 bolts and they all need to be tightened, however, my husband was doing that every week and I still lost one...he put Locktite on the rest...
You should take your car to the dealer to have them fix it for you...
Hope this info helps you!!!...

All 6 of them? Just checking, since some people thought there were only 4.

There are 6 and it can be a PITA to fish out. I would just bring it to your dealer, they can get it out in about 5 mins. and have you on your way. (Unless you feel like dickin around with it)

Take it to the dealer. I had the same issue.
Knew (from the posts) that it must be one of the 2 I couldn't see.
They have a TSB on it.

It will take 30 minutes.
During that time you can mess with the sales guys who don't know you and test their Camaro knowledge.
Give dumb details and see if they correct you

yes...take it to the dealer. I had the same issue and thought it was only one bolt. It turns out that I had four missing.

The mechanic told me, "That's the third one I've worked on in the last couple of months. I have no idea why the 2010 is losing so many bolts onthe spoiler."

food for thought

Supposedly it was an incorrect setting on a torque wrench that was used on the assembly line.

The newer cars don't have the problem. It only happens in the cars made early on. I don't know exactly when they fixed it at the plant though.
