Anyone's Camaro get keyed?
I'm just curious because I came out this morning to discover 2 1-inch long gouges in the driver rear fender. Almost down to the metal. Not sure who did it and I do not have pictures because I was so mad that I went to the store right away and got the duplicolor touch up repair kit, which if used in more experienced hands wouldve resulted in a better repair job, as of now, it looks terrible. At least I got off a few payments before some punk decided to put racing stripes on my car.

not yet, but I just washed and waxed the car yesterday and I found this morning that someone spit all over the passenger side window and door... seriously what the hell?

I live in the country and I'm scared to death that someone is going to key it when i'm asleep. I don't even have the car yet :(. I'm really sorry that some jerks keyed such an amazing car.

Keeping my fingers crossed,so far nothing yet.. My 1993 formula got keyed on the hood and that cost $250 back then for a paint job,the gouge was 8 inches long..

My first brand new car someone keyed within 1 week of buying it. Keyed a big F*&$ YOU on the roof.

This is probably my biggest fear. I live in an apartment with a small packed parking lot. I don't have my car yet but the thought of someone keying or dinging my car is already keeping me up at night. So much so that a couple of weeks ago I started looking for a condo with a garage. I hope to find something soon before my car gets here....which could be in a month or so. Thankfully my parents have offered to let me store my car in their garage for a month or two if I need it and I'll just keep driving my current car until I get a place.
By the way, is there such a thing as a public storage place for cars? |

The fear of someone keying my precious camaro is already flooding my thoughts and I can't even order it until 2 to 3 months from now. I stay in an apartment which already makes me nervous and the fact that I might be driving it to school soon makes me down right frightened. I know the risks and I have accepted that I might have to shell out some money to repair a few scratches here and there but there is no way I am parking I'm my schools parking lot. Maybe I can work something out to be able to park witht the teachers. :p
