Thats what I am thinking, It cycles every time you get in the car, Can I get to the connector from drives floor without removing anything? Its right on the side of the box correct?

If I ever need one, I am going with a metal blend door replacement:
https://www.blenddoorusa.com/product...maro-temp-door

Until then, I just keep the actuator unplugged, with the dial in the #2 position.
I still get AC, no heat, but I don't care.

Does it cycle from full to full position regardless of where temp dial is set or to the position of the temp dial?

I’m curious about this as well. So key on and unplug but I’m unfamiliar to where the connection is.

Full close to full open then to where you have it set.

Right above and to the right of the gas pedal if you are sitting in the drivers seat. If you are laying down on the floor you can see the actuator and connector.

Just plug it back in.

The system automatically re-calibrates every time the car is turned on, hence the cycling that was talked about earlier.

So, here I am. Same ****ing thing wrong with mine now. I'm not reading thru another one of these threads. Anyone care to say what a dealer-installed blend door is up to now? I see everything from $2500-3300. Thanks.

Why? I'm 67 years old. Never liked effing with petty BS under the cramped dash (unless it was a radio / tape deck) and it's a fookin hack job. I get the money thing but again, it's a shadetree cluster hack. Just seems like a junkyard fix to this old man. But yeah, 3G's sux.
