Car Cover question (ZL-1)

First off sorry in advance for asking a question that has been talked about but I try searching the forum for "Car Cover" and keep getting a fatal error! Now on to my question. Can any member who has the "GM" ZL-1 cover (indoor) tell me if it is flannel lined or inned with a soft material? I have owend several "California car covers" (indoor flannel lined) very nice, However I like the Gm cover with logo, hate to buy it if its not linned.................. Thank you all in advance and sorry again for my search option not working for me!

I use an indoor covercraft cover specific to the ZL1 and it is so soft I would wrap a baby in it. It has no exposed seams and will not scratch the infamous soft clear coat.

I have it and yes it has a very soft inner liner. It's a nice cover but very pricey compared to others available from other sources.

I have the GM cover. I haven't used it yet...but will soon be putting my ZL1 to sleep for the winter. The GM cover looks like it should work just fine.

Hey, you had better get something soon. You are going to need to put those flannel sheets back on your bed.

Chevymall.com has the out/indoor camaro covers on their site. $290 or so for the indoor and $270 or so for the outdoor. Both are lined and made to fit perfectly. Outdoor one has the black stripes and CAMARO on the side. Quirk Chevrolet in Braintree, Ma thru in the cover as part of the deal (outdoor) when I bought my AGM M6 2013 ZL1. Not sure if the indoor has the same stripes and logo but I imagine it probably does.

If your in the New England area, I highly recommend Quirk. Two ZL1's on the lot, IOM and CVR, both auto. You can pickem up at invoice. If you're looking check out their website, and make sure to "chat live" with Angela. She really knows her stuff. I think they have another inbound ZL1, not sure what color.

I purchased the Gray ZL1 outdoor cover mine for $337 and there is no lining but is is tight and I have seen no issues with it. Make sure they send the right one, the first one was the coupe PN but it turned out to be for the vert.

Why would anyone buy the indoor one, when it is more expensive and can't be used outdoor if you need to? Maybe it's thicker and softer?

The outdoor cover is indoor as well, check out chevymall.com and read the description. The gray one w/Blk stripe is part #92215994. It's made of polyester microfibers that won't scratch your paint. A good investment.

AGREED

After much research here and on the net I chose the covercraft form fit cover. It is a indoor cover and extremely well made and soft.

Fits like a glove easy to install and comes with a storage bag.

I bought the GM outdoor cover when I could use some of my GM card points. It fits well and I am happy with it. I wanted the option to use it outside if I wanted to

i have the red and gray ZL1 covers - fit great and only used inside. Honestly, I have gotten many positive comments on the design and fit of the red cover when installed on the car. Looks cool with the stripes and Camaro logos and fits very well. Nice quality too.

I am stuck in a rental until house is done with remodel, camaro is under cover outside and have had 0 issues. Looks great to me, I did not notice any microfibers on the inside though, will have to look closer.
