Finally done

I would like to thank Ofer for all of his help on this project. My thanks also go out to the poor deer that made it possible

There is a back story here with Ofer and I would like to tell all that he is a man of principles. Thumbs up

Here it is. One picture has the Apex scoop shown. That is the portion that has to be cut off to make this work. The washer bottle fits, but the scoop becomes merely a bracket. So, judge for yourself on that one.

I went with the full ZL-1 fender liners and the flare thingies. During the course of repairs, I painted my grille wing ends white, that did not work well with the new bumper, so I did them in black. The pic below is shall we say "inter-racial" ha. The second pic is how it is, the others are earlier

That white looks great with the silver stripes!

Ofer is a good man, he gave me some advice during my ZL1 bumper install even knowing I purchased the parts elsewhere. I did use his fog light harness, very impressive!

HER we go .

Pic 1 is of a painted ZL1 bumper with out the trim part you take off your old bumper its the black plastic on the top, it goes all the way around the front where the hood meats the bumper.

When you remove the trim part you use the rives i send with the kit.

and here is where it goes.

Next is the parts they pop in on the bottom of the bumper to hold the front trim on.

This is what the hold on.

here is where it goes.

That is the inside of the bumper.

I'm this has already been asked before but...............I have a 2012 1LT with the RS package. Will the day time running light assembly and led work work for the ZL1 bumper? I'm hoping I can just take the DRL assembly and led out of LT bumper and install it into the ZL1 bumper. And also, where can a get a good deal on the fog light led and assembly?

I have just about all the parts and i'm hoping to do the bumper swap next weekend!!!!

The white wire will go to a 12V powered switch, likely somewhere on the console or location of your choice. I wired mine to an ignition source so it only works when the key is on. One side of the switch goes to the power source, the other side of the switch is where the white wire goes. The little ring wire goes to a hot 12V. Then, the switch will turn on/off the fogs.
