I suggest calling your insurance company. If you deductible is higher then the repair then I guess your out of luck.

Next step I'd suggest taking it to a body shop. A good body shop. Seems your looking for the cheap route. Remember, you get what you pay for! I am betting CGM is a tough color to match. Good luck!

I agree, this guy is good. He charges 30k+ to build/restore cars for people from his shop. He just does small paint jobs on the side to build his 57 chevy. Its a fun shop to check out.

Hes working on an original numbers matching 69 pace car there now. Theres a 69 convertible that hes building for another guy and making it a 396 ac car cone but with a tremec trans. That cars silver with hockey stripes. Theres a blue w30 convertible there.

Last year he was doing an old nova two tone silver and blue. It had a crate 502 with a tremec. There was also like a 68 firebird that was some historic getaway car???

He just repainted and matched Red jewel tint on my grandpas 08 c6 and it looks great. A kid wrecked his bike into his door and the 12" scrape was down to the primer. Ill have to post up pictures of the painted side.

Sirphobos, make sure to check out his fridge!! Its an old 60s single door custom candy painted and looks BA!!! Theres plenty of cars to check out there and then decide.

Seriously, more bling and no performance mods yet. Speedy's owner needs to have a heart to heart talk.

How can you call the car Speedy? What was the slow mouse's name? oh yeah, Slowpoke Rodriguez. Maybe we should change the name of Mrs hrpiii's car to Slowpoke instead of Speedy.

She just might do that after the holes I put in her car.

Oh wait, you told me to!

Remind me to tell you what the folks from Razzi said if I have not already told you.

I did tell him that I almost rewrote the instructions and was going to send to him. He said he a had a .pdf that he could send out that was easier to see the pictures.

He said that there should have been 2 sided tape on the back of the side skirts to attach to the door sill plate. I told him yours had none. He also mentioned that they cut the door piece at an angle now so that it fits better. On their display, it looked much better.

The guy who installed them jacked up the wheel well screws, they were really crooked. He admitted it was a shotty job of installing them and the guy who did it was in a hurry. Apparently the car brought in just had a SC installed the day before, well they broke the car playing with it, so it would have to be towed out of the convention hall. oops~!

I think if it doesn't match well, I can always have stripes done to cover over it! Hah. I'm going to possibly go over there this weekend. Depends on if it snows or not.

I already considered turning it in, but I had an accident a little over two years ago and that, according to them, if I submitted another claim i'd be dropped. Load of shit.
