Where do you get your Parts and Service from ?

What VLA colour indicator lights do you have ?
Mine are Clear, which is some weirdo Mod as I believe I can have Red in the UK ?

Hey up! I bought my car from David Boatwrights in Essex, and can get any spares within a week from them too. They also specialise in crash repairs to US cars, which is nice to know, if the worst happens.
My rear indicators are amber, which is a shame, because I like to see the four rear lights all the same red colour. However in the UK reds are illegal, and as I already have six points on my licence I don't want to risk another tug from the boys in blue.

Great info SB, in case I need it in the future. I do all the service myself, to include all the mods. I get all my parts from places in the US, primarily RockAuto or the specific vendor sites.

I converted my reverse lights to the indicators since reverse lights are not required by law and the reverse lights were pretty useless anyways.

Thanks for that Red. I may have to look into getting those. Mine look like yours, and they do irk me every time I look at the damned things. I guess these days with very bright LEDs, amber can be achieved through a red lens.

Hi Stray. I've been trying to import parts from USA, but the 'shipping' and 'tax' is extortionate ! and many DO NOT ship to the UK, or out of the USA, in this recession :-O ! madness IMO.

So I have a friend in the USA doing the shopping for me :-)
I'm getting some lights, and the 4 Gauge Centre Console.

Yeah, tell me about the bloody import duty, it's a right pain. My wife's American, and we usually try to get to see her folks at least every other year. Last year we came home with a pair of MRT2 axleback mufflers (Nice sound) wrapped within clothing in our luggage....Thought customs may think they were rocket launchers or something, but we lucked out, and the result was nice cheap exhausts. I have the four guage cluster as part of the 2lt package, and it does look cool, particularly at night. Although I have to say I think if you actually tried to read them whilst driving, you'd crash..

You just surprised me with the heads up on W H Brand. I had no idea they had become Chevy dealers, but am happy as they are only about 12 miles from me. I may have to check 'em out.
