Does/Has anyone ran Dunlop or Falken tires?

I have heard mixed reviews on Dunlop, considering some of their Sport Max SP9000 that I can get a REAL good deal on.

Have never heard of Falken, but also can get a good deal on some FK452's

Anyone ran either of these or similar models? Im wondering how they compare to the Pirelli's

Any help is appreciated!

I had Falken on my 2006 Dodge Charger RT. Its a great warm weather tire and a good wet weather tire. It's a bad snowy weather tire tough not as bad as the Pirelli. I had them for nearly 10k and when I sold the Charger there was still enough tread to pass inspection.

Hope this helps a little

Falken makes pretty good tires, I would recommend them for the right price

Well,

Tread wear on the Dunlops is 280
Tread wear on the Falkens is 300

Thats seems like a pretty big diff from the Pirellis 220 BUT

2 Dunlops for $480
2 Falkens for $340

Question, are they all z rated? The Dunlop and Falken are going to be a much harder compound. I thought I was getting a great deal on a set of Hankook Ventus (also tread wear 300) tires for my 86 Vette. They were OK in the dry but OMG awful in the rain. Like driving on an ice rink. But the Vette didn't have traction control. Just food for thought.

I had the FK452 on my BMW and loved them. I drive pretty hard, but still got about 20,000 miles out of the set.
