I'd have it delivered on a flatbed just to avoid the salt and stone chips. Roads are a mess.
I bought in Ohio and had it delivered to Wisconsin last March because the roads were still a mess. First place I drove was the Xpel installer

It snowed a good 2 inches today in the area where you bought the ZL1. Might want to wait until Thursday. It is supposed to be sunny but a high of 20.

Just make sure you are extremely careful if you get it today!!! Good luck!! The flatbed is a good idea also or if you know anyone with a enclosed car trailer... The salt and ash is what will suck the most!!!

i got stuck in a snow storm back in 04 or 05 with my R32 and goodyear whatever summer tires that came on it. If it wasn't for the awd i would have wrecked that thing. Cold weather - fine. Drive it slow ice/snow/slush - better wait until the roads are clear or just have it shipped on a truck |

Please be careful, personally I wouldn't take the chance. Hockey pucks on ice is what you have at those temps. It is not only traction and steering. You have to be able to stop!

Waiting at least until Thursday. Roads are a mess. Dealer called me and told me don't come on weds. It's to dangerous. Another reason why I like to work with small town dealers. They honestly care..

Had to get home. That pic was taken on 9/13/14 leaving rapid city south dakota. My sister was behind me in her SS vert.

flat bed it, I live in NE Ohio and would not recommend driving a rear wheel car plus week have snow. The chemicals they clear the roads with will destroy that cars finnish!

Put it in a trailer, well worth the trouble. Good luck, be safe.

I live in Dover, Delaware, and if the roads an hour north are anything like they are here right now (usually way worse once you get up to PA/Jersey/NY) I would wait or flat bed it back. You wouldn't believe how many folks I saw trying to drive yesterday with sports cars in the dusting of snow we got, slipping and sliding all over the place (being a danger to themselves and others on the road!). Hopefully they clear everything up quick where you are. It's nothing but ice covered roads in DE today! Plus, they dumped salt everywhere....keep that crap off of your new ZL1!!!!

A few Z's have left the road in much better road conditions. If it were me I would ship it.

I took mine home on a 27deg day last March, the tires are slick in the cold. Just take it slow , cautious no quick stops or starts and you'll be good. Then put her in a garage to sleep off the winter.
