Hey Becky - when you check our order numbers, is the information you have access to different than what I can see by inputing the order number on the Chevy Website?

Thanks - PHVPQH

Matt,
When I look...I "see" them different than the website,
it's a dealer point of view...

Allocation pulled???

Hey Becky, quick question if you dont mind. I've been at code 2030 since 11/24. Called my dealer today and he said both of his allocations for verts have been pulled by Chevy. Does this sound feasible or is he sellin me a line of crap? He said the same thing happened to them with the ZR-1's. Thanks

I'm thinking a line o' crap To the very best of my knowledge,
the order has to be placed against allocation. Could be a different story if
it was a coupe, but not a convertible. The 2030 code is an edit being done
by GM to update orders with new requirements, basically internal codes and such for production. So, if it were me, I'd be asking alot of questions

Hello all first post here and of course i'm already asking for something! I just placed my order on 12/7/10 and it's not showing on the chevy site yet. However, I registered over at gmconnect.com got an e-mail today saying my vehicle status has changed when I checked on it the site said my order number had ordered a chevy cruze! Except it stated wrong state and dealer. Hopefully that is just a glitch since it's so soon in the process. I ordered black/black 1LT/RS from Findlay Chevy in Las Vegas, Nevada. Order number I was given is PJDSSV . Any help would be greatly appreciated : )

Welcome Raven:
Is there any chance you mis-keyed the Order Number? Maybe they are using Chevy Cruze's as filler for Camaro's?!? But seriously, welcome to the site and thread. This is a fantastic place to be and learn a whole boat load of info on the Gen 5 Camaro. I rather suspect yours will pop up in the production line in latter part of January or early February depending on the impacts from the convertible. No expert here but I am sure there will be some squeeze on the coupes as the convertibles roll out. Make sure you start a journal, collect and publish photos along the way. It is a treasure for years to come.

Thanks for the welcome i'll probably give it a week or two then i'll start asking questions since that is the exact order number I got from my dealer. I will definitely be trying to document this experience as much as possible since this is my first new car and it's being built just for me!

My guess is the dealer gave you the wrong order #. I would ask them for it again to make sure you got the right #, and welcome to the camaro5 family

If you get a copy of the GM Order Workbench (dealer printed it for me), then it will show the order number and there is NO guessing. It looks like this (sort of). Mine has been sanitized of personal information.
