black bow ties (Defenderworx)

To anyone who installed these, is your back bowtie very secure? Mine seems a bit wobbly if I push on it. I just put it on last night, so maybe it just needs some time to set? I definitely don't want this thing falling off

Mine will "wobble" if i push hard enough on it. It's due to thickness of the adhesive sticker used. I have not had any problems.

Did you completely remove the old 3M tape before putting the new one on? I doubt it would fall off, but it should be flush and not wobbling.

Yep, got all the old tape off. It does look flush, but if I press on the top or bottom part of the black bow, it sort of tilts in a little bit. As long as it stays put, it shouldn't be a big deal. It seems like the original bows were taped on more securely though. They had adhesive all over the back surface, not just strips of tape. Maybe I could get my hands on the type of sticky tape GM uses??

I thought the same thing at first.

Defenderworx put mine on themselves at the fest.

Mine is the car they used in their booth.

No problems at all here, and mine did the same as yours.

I got all the tape off, put it on correctly, it'll wobble if I push on it, but it seems like it's in there pretty good. Did get concerned this summer in the GA heat that it may pop out if I drove to aggressively or on bumpy roads, but never did. lilke someone said earlier think it's more the thickness of the adhesive just giving when you push.

Nope, they're aluminum. Got mine at Chevy Parts Plus:

I'll post a few pics a little later.

I know I've seen chrome bow ties somewhere, but not sure if they're Defenderworx?
