I had mine into the dealer this morning for an oil change and I asked if my vehicle was covered. It is and they will order parts on monday.

BTW he called it an "enhancement".

If you're having troubles with getting this taken care of then I would say changing dealers would be a good idea. The We Owe slip from your original dealer shouldn't matter in this case as your vehicle would be covered under this program any way and should be preformed regardless of the slip. If you're not sure if your vehicle is part of this program either post it here or message me your VIN and I'll check it over and get it back to you as soon as I can. Zandron, your vehicle is involved in this program. Hopefully you can get your vehicle to your dealer soon and get this resolved. Have a good weekend guys and galls!

Understood and thank you for your replies. Our VIN: 2G1FK3DJ3B9180603

We'll start asking around locally to see if any of these have been done in the greater Phoenix area. With the hole in the top right between the rub marks on the passenger side it's going to be a new replacement top and the TSB fixes. I am hoping the TSB fixes will hold up. Best Regards.....

Cactuseater,
through my own experience with my 5th bow broken,There are not alot of GM dealers around where I am anyway with top experience.GM has not made convertible tops consistently in their vehicle line up with the exception of the corvettes.

What I did was zero in on the big corvette dealers and asked questions re: camaro tops.

My selling dealer which is about an hour away from me is one of the only ones that have experience repairing the camaro tops.they are also one of canada's largest corvette dealers if not the largest.
They also are in a select group that knew what to look for with regards to top problems.
I asked most of the questions with the service manager, he is definitely on the ball and knew his stuff.
All the questions I asked he was able to answer so I felt comfortable that they would be able to fix it and absolutely did not give me the runaround that you are going through right now with your dealer.
You would be surprised (maybe not) by the number of dealers here that have verts on their lots with broken or crappy tops and are trying to sell them in that condition as they have no idea what to look for.Again I think it comes down to the fact that GM has not produced convertible tops consistently through a particle model line(corvette excepted) and therefore the dealers don't have enough experience when issues arise.

Jeff

Thanks for all your help with these issues. Can you check my VIN as well? I have rub marks, so I'm guessing (hoping) it will fall under the program.

Picked up my car on Friday after the repair of the 5th Bow and the so called fix for the cars that are included by vin number. So far so good but i had the car for a year before the problem started so time will tell!
