I'd imagine they are better than the stock manifolds but I wouldn't expect a good fit.

I can promise you one thing. They aren't selling them because they don't like making money. Meaning, for $270 you are not looking at anything close to quality headers.

That's a great deal but you get what you pay for. Headers are a great way to make power. Adding a set like this will get you some easy power but there are sets out there that will out perform these for a couple hundred more bucks. Just saying if you're going to try to add power you might as well get every pony you can from a single mod. So going cheap on your biggest power adding bolt on would truly short change your SS. These headers look to have 2.5" collectors and 1 3/4" primary tubes which will limit your power gains. Toss that in with possible fitment issues (the connection pipe is welded to the collector) and you might want to spend a few extra bucks for a better set. We generally try not to flame other dealers products for obvious reasons but I wouldn't put those on my car. If you want a nice stainless discount header look into a set of JBA or Stainless Power. While you can't find a pair for $300, (plus the set of o2 extensions you'll need) you can find some solid deals on them on with any Camaro5 sponsor here. We offer financing and discounts for board members on a lot of our systems as well just to help out board members.

OR you can get TSP longtube headers for 460? IIRC and have the customer service readily available to you should you have an issue, goodluck getting a replacement set thru a fleabay company. remember TSP pays the bills here, the least we can do is support them.

pick your poison

Good stuff is never cheap, cheap stuff is never good. Low quality parts are out there just to seperate you from your money. Even if they honor there money back garranty whats your time worth? If these were any good they would be selling for more. That is why the high dollar headers make the most power and dont have any fitment issues.

Just save your money and buy a decent pair. There are a lot more quality budget headers out there now. TSP, Stainless Power, OBX (if you buy direct from obx dealer), and several others. If you are paying under $600-700 for stainless headers, you are prolly not getting what you paid for.

I saw those too when I was looking and just didn't think the difference in price was worth the risk. I was able to pickup used dynatech's for a great deal but I was planning on going TSP.

FYI TSP connection pipes (catted or non catted) do not have rear O2's.

O2 extensions will be needed for the front

For install (if doing on jack stands) make sure you jack the car up high enough.

Litle88 I'm sure you knew all of that already. it was meant for the OP
