After reading this thread, I'm thinking I need to do this. Will this mod cause me problems with my dealer if warranty work is needed on the engine?

Not Apex's fault...all ours. Were just backed up with the demand...will ship just as fast as all are shipped in order of the date the order is recieved, but wait times should be far better this next week going forward as the builders and electricians are nearly finished so the new assy lines can be finished and operational.

Ok thanks. I hope you guys make a ton of money with your TB too, but ordering a bunch from Chevy and getting them done ahead of time would make sense right? 3 or 4 a week or even per day is not gonna cut it. I know I'm not alone when I say no one wants to to wait weeks to get that too.

It's worth it.

This isn't a multi-national corporation with production facilities spanning hundreds of acres per site. They are operating a legit biz, selling a quality upgrade part and at the same time undergoing an expansion of their facilities.

I waited (without complaint) for my TB for a lot longer than you will. You'll enjoy it when you get it.

Profit per piece are lower than most of our products....and we have over (app) $14,000 invested in cores between the different models and many of the new releases we invested$3-4k in new TB's (when the new version was released each time as there were no used to be had) and then sat for 3-4 months plus on this investment before the cut was perfected and all testing done to verify gains and improvements (we release NOTHING without it proven through our testing and usually at least 2 other tuner shops in different parts of the country and on different cars and different dynos. And if you follow our products, we dont advertise "up to 43 rwhp!!!!" We state actual repeatable results backed up by others independantly.

We have no financial backing of any amount, we invest heavily in each of these products (the CNC TB's being Pete Incaudo of VMax fame we work hand in hand on many joint ventures) and we recently expanded to a new 9,000 sq ft facility and had to fund the entire build out ourselves, we have added staff to now 11 employees, and several more assy lines and additional production equipment to try and better meet demand, but banks wont lend a penny to small business's that need it and there are few other options so we do the best we can. Myself and the few key staff work 7 days a week, 12 plus hours per day, and we dont want to say no to the new dealer requests that are coming in daily.....but as demand grows, so does the investment required by us....all worth it in the end we trust. And those that have visited us in person see what we have to work with.

Our appologies for any delays, but we are doing the best we can with what resources we have...and were human and make mistakes also....but admit to them and do all possible to make up for them.

I like your ethic and attitude towards quality. Next Friday I will make my order and I hope you make tons of money on your hard work from me and others who feel the same. Thanks for taking the time to let us know about how things work there, I'm sure it will be worth the wait! Once we get Obama into the unemployement line I hope small businesses like yours can prosper once again.
