I figure you were not really concerned about what you hit, Based on how fast you slowed down and stopped ...

Hey everyone the comments are very enjoyable - especially the nascar ones! Damage was done, slowing down to inspect damage on the interstate in Atlanta only causes death so just waited till the next exit - I did provide an immediate 8% reduction in speed for what its worth.

Anyone know of splitters which do not require the use of the rear mounting bolt in the front fender well which I no longer have?

I hit something on the freeway in my SS one night and tore off and destroyed my ACS T3 splitter. It ripped out the 2 bolts you are talking about. I replaced it with an RPI splitter which is similar to the SLP and it installed fine without using those 2 bolts.

I have done the same had a Hawk try land in the median and instead landed on my hood scratches up the hood broke my wiper arm feathers everywhere. I never touched the brake or flinched had cruise control on at 71 MPH kept right on moving guy behind me freaked and almost went in the ditch. I have learned freaking out when something happens does you no good just lift off the throttle a bit hold straight and HOPE.
