It would really just be up to you and your budget, you could do it either way and it wouldn't matter. And its just a hose clamp holding the intake tube elbow on so its not as if the installation will be that much easier for your TB. I've heard of people doing it both ways and being happy with the results.

Just wanted to say thank you to all the recent V6 Customers who have ordered. The last few weeks we have been in and out of stock on V6 CAI's due to the unusually high sales of them for this time of year, which is a good problem to have! The systems are back in stock and on the shelf waiting to ship, and we appreciate all of your orders!!

Best purchase ever, 10/10. I have a V6 and i could feel the gain and most of all the engine sound is so much better now. Highly recommended, this would the best thanks givings gift for yourself

Are these legal for 2014 California Camaro's ?

I want one for mine but the owner at the muffler shop I went to said they we a no no in Ca. right now and would void any factory warranty. I am confused

Our CAI's are not CARB certified. As far as CAI's and your factory warranty, one does not effect the other, in fact we have dozens of Chevrolet dealerships across the country and Canada that sell and install our CAI's exclusively. I hope that helps.
