I went to my dealer today and he said nothing was out about it yet. He will be calling me as soon as he hears something.

I read that as W/A (will/advise?) for RPO B7J. Which makes some sense as they may not have finalized the pricing for the Green/Flash Edition pkg but need to support logging orders - for when production resumes.

I am going to poke around some of my contacts in Warren, to see if I can find out what is going on with this edition. Strongly considering ordering this or the Commemorative Ed. The Silver looks interesting with the red interior.

So it would be 42255 (2SS Convertible base) plus 5995 for a total of 48250 without other options? I want full Nav, short throw shifter and DPP exhaust. So right around 50 grand.

If your source is credible.

Perhaps Mike Judge may have some insight into this.

Thx!

Unfortunately I don't work in that department with regards to Americans ordering through an Ontario Chevrolet dealer . As for Canadian allocations , I'm sure there will be some awarded to dealerships up here , but again as i don't work in sales I can't give you any useful information . Best bet is to keep working with your local sales reps . The Green Flash Edition is a kickass looking 5thgen and will be a collectable in years to come ( based on the limited production run & for those who appreciate this vehicle )

I know it would look great in my driveway !

Yup, I was in my local dealership meeting with the General Manager ordering a new 2500 HD Long bed pick up and we were talking about the special edition and pricing, He told me it was going to be same as last year.
Funny thing is he said I could get the green color as my truck color if I wanted to spend an additional $695.00 (called it rainforest green) I passed on that as it is my work truck and would be a Bear to keep clean.

I think that's a good price for what you're getting. Better than the Commemorative Editons! Plus you have a distinctive color.

Thanks Mike! Actually I am a Canadian working in Detroit for GM and living in Windsor. Not entirely straightforward for US employees working in MI who are CDN residents; to find and purchase a GM vehicle.

I may order one in the US, and import it. I service my car at a GM dealer in greater Detroit, so warranty issues (if they exist) are not an issue.

I shall keep you in the loop on my progress.
BR/Brian.
