I called Quality Chevy in Escondido and they told me it would cost at LEAST the same, if not MORE, if they got it for me. They also buy it from Helm, Inc. and pay all the same prices. Then add a little more for themselves

that's why i broke down and paid almost $200 with shipping, tax, and handling ;(

Just ordered my Service manual set from GMpartshouse.com. $136.60 plus $13.39 shipped to California for a total of $149.99

Cool and I'll probably order it. Just wish cars would catch up with dirt bikes. All my dirt bikes and quad have manuals on CD and its super easy to order parts online. I have 2 quads and 2 dirt bikes and none have ever been to the shop. I know its a cost/profit thing, but it would be great if do-it-yourself people could have the same options. I'll admit that cars are way more complicated and I do have to visit shop for major work (boring and head work), but I would rather do it myself than trust some shop flunky that makes 10% of the posted shop rate.
