Foam Guns
Read a little about foam guns. They seem pretty interesting.
For those who have/use them, what are the benefits? Do you use one with a power washer or just a normal hose line? Which do you recommend? In other words...try to convince me as to why or why not to buy one. Thanks! Thanks! |

Once u buy one ull never go back to anything else. They really help loosen a lot of the dirt and crud from the car before even touching the car. You just use a normal hose line. I hate swirls/scratch's on my car so this is a great tool to use to prevent them while washing a car. All the stuff you see over the counter are just crappy sud guns and dont even get me started on that mr clean auto dry that thing is laughable. You will stlill have to pull out your buckets and wash mitt u cant skip that part so if your thinking of buying it and using it like the auto dry system its not like that. If u want to buy one a good place to start is amazon.com. here is the link http://www.amazon.com/Gilmour-75QGFM...4984685&sr=8-1 . I also highly suggest the fire nozzle hose its awesome as well. Also get some quick connects to remove and use both tools it makes it very quick and much easier.

Dou you have to fill up the whole container with soap? Or do you just dilate it with water.

What do you guys think of this foam gun?
Obviously, I'm joking. Foam guns are a great option. I used to use one for my Cobalt. I highly recommend them, although I'm not an expert in detailing.

No u use a regular water line. After you foam the car with the foam gun u start washing the car like normal with your wash mitt u dont rinse after u foam the car that defeats the purpose of it. All they do is really help loosen the dirt thats in the paint. Watch this video of my man junkman. |
