Mine was the day I beat the rain home. It was gaining on me but I still escaped from having the car drive in the rain for the first time. Still has never been driven in rain.

Not long after I got my Camaro, I pulled into the local Sonic. I noticed the car hops looking out the window at my car (they obviously weren't looking at me). When my order was delivered by a shy teenager, she walked up to the car already poking my order at me and said, "I love your car sir. What do you do for a living to be able to afford a car like this?" I told her and I was flattered and felt sorry for her at the same time.

A few days after getting my Camaro I took my grandfather out to dinner, we of course took the Camaro. The entire time we were in the Camaro about 100 mile round trip he kept saying how much it reminded him of his Camaro when he owned one.

Guy on a motorcycle pulls along side me on the interstate, beeping his bike horn, wobbling all over the place trying to give me a thumbs up steering with one arm, thought he was going to dump it, facial expressions were timeless grinning and acting hilarious while bobbing up and down.
Also had countless school bus incidents, cell phone pics, comments on nice ride, and many strangers who walk up to you to talk about the car or a Camaro they have owned.
Had to see it too believe it. What a car!

every single time i'm on I-95 and have to pass 4 cars at once......which happens pretty much....EVERY morning! Then they try to speed up so I can't pass....which always makes me giggle because it never works......sure fun watching em try though! Those are the greatest moments in my car

My wife and I have had a gen 3 RS for the last 20 years. Back in 1993 we drove it from Buffalo NY to Glacier national park in Montana. On the way home we stopped for gas somewhere in SD I think and a little boy probably 5 or 6 told his mother "mommy look at the race car" I am hoping to make new memories in the IOM vert we have on order for the next 20 years.

Never before

I got my car Sept 10th Put it away End Oct.. BUT

I went to pick up my grandson(14) at local Catholic school, and the girls (in the mini shirt Uniforms) were gaga over it, and several boys took photos with their cell phones..
Next day or so, I go to Walmart.. I get out of car, and a lady hollers at me! "excuse me Sir, do you mind, If I take a picture of your car??? Wow I have over 100 Hobby cars and NO ONE ever took a picture I was impressed....

Being in the 300 Camaro cruise at Camaro5Fest and seeing people lining the streets to watch.

Participating in the Hot Rod power tour. Same situation only with about 1,000 muscle cars of all kinds.

My neighbor has an 04 Mustang Mach 1. On one of our more recent cruises we stopped for lunch and on our way out there were two grounds keepers drooling over our cars. They were in a friendly argument over which car was faster. After a minute or two my neighbor admitted that my car was faster and we all had a good laugh about the conversation. They asked us to do a burnout and since the parking lot was empty we obliged. We both laid down about 80ft of rubber and as we left I looked back at them jumping up and down screaming like a couple of pre-teen boys.

Best moments.. hmm.. I guess my two most recent favorite moments were when I was going to the movies after I turned in the turning lane there was a line of cars in the other turnlane that I passed and I counted three heads turn as I drove past just staring at my car.. was probably a few more but I put my attention back on the road lol. And then when I got to the movies there was a group of kids probably in like middle school standing infront of the movies and one of the guys started jumping up and down and pointing at my car as I drove past.

I guess I'll add my most embarassing moment too.. I was leaving a birthday party with my girlfriend and I couldnt remember how to get out so I asked her which way to turn and she says "left I think" and it looked right so i listened to her.. I ended up passing the same house I just left literally 2 minutes ago and everyone was out front of the house.. Glad they were mostly her friends not mine lol.

Mine was shortly after we picked the Camaro up . My wife and I took the Camaro to my son's student teacher conferences. His middle school is right next to the high school. We decided to park in the high school parking lot as i didn't want any one parking next to me. We all know the drill. So, I park the car and we are walking and talking and not paying attention to our surroundings as we head on over the the middle school. When we pass a group a cars a high school girl yells at us... "your car is Fricking Awesome" That weekend everything in the house was Fricking awesome. We still laugh about that one.

The day we were bringing our camaro home. We got on the ferry, got out and started looking at the car. A boy and his father walked over and kept talking about how much they loved the car and my dad let the little boy sit in it. His dad probably took like 15 pictures in a few minutes lol. Great time.
