if its like D2
(lets say I buy today)
We'd be able to play, but unless I beat the act bosses I can't get to where you're at in story.
If you rushed me to the act you're on I can be lvl 1 and play with you at your level.

So it's more a "mmospg"?

Change is the devil! You can't improve on what I've played the last 15 years! Also I bet a good number of people are peeved over the inability to use mods. And having to connect to a server to play a single player game.

I did read a group in Korea and the states beat the game in like 5-6 hours from midnight. I'm sure they're the same groups that will complain the loudest about having nothing to do, or no endgame, etc.

There is lots of stuff to complain about. Log in servers for a single player/coop game....
Manditory makes it wrong.

The reason for this is the marketplace. You can sell your in game items for real life cash. If people were allowed to not connect to a server they could mod the game and develop weapons and armor to sell when they reconnected to the online servers. This prevents file hacking of anytime and taking advantage of this market place. People could exploit the system for real currency. I see no problem with having to connect to the internet in order to play.

Mandatory internet connection is the sole reason I will not be buying this game. Shouldn't have to "prove" to some server/developer that I am legit. I bought the game, it's mine, I'll do what I want with it.
