Good morning. Drama with the kids kept me up late last night so I am tired. Nothing major, just my son texting us saying he had arrived at my daughter's then 2 hours later her calling saying he had not. All is well, he is there & safe. But I need coffee!!!!!!! Traffic today in Nashville is going to be an absolute nightmare with both the Music City Bowl & preparations for the New Year's Bash on Broadway. I sure do dread it. HAGD crew.

These slides are not dated, but I am guessing 1970 - 1971.

I love way back pictures. I have a few but mainly ones I scanned to go with memorial videos. Not the best reason to scan photos.

Kid drama is exhausting especially when they are adults but not acting like it. I think sometimes they just don't want us to worry.

Well, I lucked out. This morning I left a bit early & made it past the stadium just seconds before they closed the street. Then this afternoon my last clients cancelled so I got to leave early missing the traffic nightmare. I still had to detour but the game was still going on so traffic was not too bad. It did get bad as the game ran late causing more of a clash between the football fans leaving & the hockey fans arriving. That is it for Nashville for me this week as tomorrow & Friday are Springfield days & of course no work on New Year's day.

The next week will then be a partial week for me as we leave for a week in the mountains Friday Jan 16th through the following Friday and I took off the Thrusday before that to pack. I plan to do a whole lot of NOTHING!!!!

I got back home today from Florida. I miss it already it was in the upper 70's and low 80's now its in the low 20's at home with 6-12" of snow in the forecast for tomorrow. At least I don't have to go back to work until Friday. It is still good to be home though and seeing my dogs again.

We did get a nice surprise though my wife called our town highway department about the fallen tree since it fell from town owned land and they came today and removed it so I did not have to. We just patched up the broken fence to keep the dogs in the yard and I will make a permanent fix for it in the spring. I have also been getting some more pain from my Trigeminal Neuralgia so I think I am going to try and get on the surgical schedule as soon as possible. Its getting to the point where its getting difficult for me to eat at times.

I got up too late to post before leaving home this AM. I will probably leave work early today also as I only have one client scheduled this morning. I have a new referral to get scheduled & not much else to do. I plan to sleep in New Year's day & see if I can get caught up on my sleep some. Be safe & have a Happy New Year everyone.
