Advise on ordering Camaro

My daughter asked me to find her a new Camaro. Her first was an 87 and then a 93(used cars during high school and college). She wants a 1LT/ auto SIM or IBM. I did a "build your own" spec and it comes to right at $25,140 with the connectivity pkg. Have looked around the area(within a few hundred miles) and cant seem to find anything(not surprised).

Am I correct in assuming that all the original allocations are spoken for? We are in the next go round? Time to get delivered? I know things are "FLUID" right now. LOL. I am retired and dont mind doing some driving to get the car for her. I know there are forum vendors on here that might be able to help.....Thanks

Not all Q3 allocations are spoken for but for the most part they are. I was told by Classic Chevrolet that if I was to order now I could expect my car in Oct. or Nov. Hopefully that gives you a little insight towards delivery dates. There are cars showing up on lots every once in a while so keep looking and maybe you'll luck out. Hope I was some help to you and welcome to the site.

My dealer in Winter Haven,fl has unsold cars due in.If it hasn't been built yet they can change the order for you.If you get an allocation expected wait time to get car is about 2 months.

I've been looking around for cars for a while, and there are a TON out there. Goto autotrader's website and do a search and you'll find 500 or so within 500 miles. And just start talking to dealers Most of the guys I talked to are selling for MSRP.

Good luck!

If you are getting a 1LT seriously consider the RS package. For what u get its an amazing deal 20 inch rims plus the spoiler for the LT camaro.

depends on what your daughter wants and price. Personally I would rather have the RS package then the connectivity package. But if your price range is 25, and she likes all the littly electronic gimics go for that. You can do an autotrader search and if your willing to drive or spend the money to have it shipped i would think you could have one for the weak. Otherwise drop your order and wait a few months

Thanks

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess I will start calling around to find a relatively local MSRP dealer. I checked Autotrader within 500mi. All LTs are up around $28 to $29+.

Might try a forum vendor if I can find one within 500mi.....will keep pecking.......

MSRP dealers up here are :

College Chevy - MI ask for Thomas
Buff Whelan Chevy- MI ask for John Weber
Newman Chevy (Camaro Scotty) - WI asl for Camaro Scotty
Symdon Chevy (Kvapil28) - WI askk for Jason Drees

not sure what all these folks have for sure, but all are MSRP and will ship to ya also. great dealers..........tell em' Wes sent ya!
