I would KILL for a ZL! myself or an SS or a 1LE
HA, dude it honestly wasn't. Wish I could take credit for that, would've been downright graceful.

Well, here's my thoughts... One I'm amazed a dealership let you test drive a ZL1. Two, since I own both a ZL1 and a 2SS, I can understand what you are saying. For anyone who has modded their 2SS, driving a ZL1 will not blow up your skirt..... In a straight line. I have learned that the grin factor comes in turning and accelerating and out maneuvering just about everything on the road. I love both cars and each have their own ways to make me smile. Just my 2 cents.

You've still got 2 models to go, better get crackin. And let's not even mention all the V6 trim levels you're missing. For shame.

Our dealership here lets folks test drive them. My buddy went down and drove one w/ 8 miles on it the other day.

I own one and drove it 800 miles a little disappointed. Had a 400 sbc in a 69 that was scarier/faster. looked it up.. held traction control down 7 seconds. nailed it at 30mph and smoked the 12" tires. It became all it was supposed to be and can't imagine hooking up more power.

The OP wants /expected to take a horse from the stable , and beat everyone around

First one have / should have warm up the animal [ie] brake it in , 1500 miles
The you could have had a better " test drive "
I bet that you had the same ~ let down when you first drove your SS

And no , I don't own a ZL or ever drove / test one
