Hurst Shifter and Stock Leather Knob?

Was wondering if anyone has this combination and might have a picture of it?

I want the White Ball from Hurst, the wife is thinking that she likes the Stock Leather....

When using the Hurst stock knob adapter, it looks exactly like stock after the installation.
The stock knob adapter is visible in the packaging picture below. It is the black billet piece in the upper right.

Be a man, go with the white ball and chrome shaft. It feels so much better in the palm of your hand. I liked the OEM knob but now that I have had the HURST for a couple days, its 100% better. Everything about it is PERFECT. I did order the black ball though b/c i didn't like the redundant shift pattern. Hurst should have been on the ball... no pun intended... with that and made the white ball with the gold "H" on it instead of the shift pattern. i ordered the black ball with the white "H". Should be here this week, can't wait! Props to Hurst, this is our 3rd Hurst equiped car and man thay are all awesome!

OH.. just noticed OP has a V6... why does it say in very fine print "*V6 uses stock knob" on the bottom left of the box label? Why would it matter? The linkage below is the same, why couldn't you just mount the chrome shaft and white ball instead of the stock knob?

I just put mine in today.. and apparently I was not a "man" because I used the stock knob. I don't like the chrome hurst stick nor the white ball.

I didn't say it was manly to use the white ball... he siad HE wanted the white ball but his WIFE wanted the stock knob. It was a joke. My wife wasnt sold on the white knob either until it was in. Now she likes it but I ordered the black ball. She will have to get used to that now.

Thats why I don't ask my wife about these things. It only clouds my thinking.

LMAO.
Thanks folks for the replies! I've been on the road again so I am late getting back to these.

Little background. I've been married for 34 years, we had 3 children and now 4 Grand Kids. I've sacrificed much to get to where I am today and this Camaro is one of my mid life rewards after the most impossible year of my life.

I wonder about the comment about the "BOX" statement. I'll probably go with the white knob but I'd just like the option of going stock looking too. I've got few miles on my Camaro and things are still so tight. I want a few more miles on it before I take it apart for the shifter.

But, Winter is upon us and the Camaro goes away for the Winter, so if I get 500 miles on her before the cover goes on that will be alot.

Again, thanks for the pics!

Chris
