I kinda agree. But newmoon is alright in my book. At least he presents good info that keeps the thread moving forward. I enjoy debating him and sometimes he does put out some good replies.

He's probably cool in person like most car people, but he fanboys harder than GSJ imo lol GSJ can be impartial at times.

I know people say GSJ might be a decent guy in person, but I have my doubts. But, I agree whenever I'm at a car event, nearly everyone is very nice and the fanboy stuff goes away.

Newmoon should prove he’s a good guy by hosting a versus section outing at Tail of the Dragon.

Then you take out the back seat in the base and would be about even.
Then what is the big problem with it? If the weight is a wash? Obviously MT didn't have a problem with it like they did with the C8 track alignment right?

There isn't a big problem with it. The problem is one car showing up with a roll cage and no back seat and then calling a track alignment that's in the owner's manual "cheating".

This year I made my first outing to TotD as part of my trip to CamaroFest. I expect to do the same in 2020. Maybe we should try to coordinate this year to meet up in person and flood the Dragon with Camaros. And a GT350.

Where did MT have a problem with the track alignment? You have to remember, all this track alignment came from the c7 vs C8 test. Then they just used the same data when they did the gt500 vs C8. The gt500 vs C8 wasn’t done at the same time, you do realize that.

I have no problem with it. You made the assertion that MT test the cars as they are delivered to the customer. Then a lot of people complained about the C8 being on track alignment and the GT500 on street (we don't know that as MT only mentions the C8, but said nothing about the GT500 set up roll bar included etc.) So your assertion is demonstrably not true. But, you know all of this.

In the end we really don't know exactly how either car in this test (and others) was setup.
